About Me:
I have been a science research technician for 15 years. I enjoy doing a mix of lab and office work, and help a lot of people in our lab with their experiments using my robots!

I live in York with my husband. I like to go for walks and play badminton. I have 5 brothers and sisters, and 9 nieces and nephews!

I use robots to measure sugar in plants, which can then be fermented into alcohol (to be used as biofuel). I also look for other chemicals in plants and algae for other uses such as medicines. I also train staff and students in different lab techniques.

My Typical Day:
I run lots of samples on my robots and hopefully get time to drink some tea! I spend lots of time talking with other scientists about how to plan their experiments and what their results mean.
