There is a Roman object (Lycurgus Cup) that is green when lit from the front and red when lit from behind, for those who can’t choose only one colour. The effect is due to nanoparticles in the glass walls of the cup and it was made in the 4th century, way before we understood nanotechnology.
Can I say twilight – the colours of the sun on a fantastic summers day as the sun sets – hits the clouds – and you get those magical colours in the sky
