Writing essays for the criminal law modules that I had to do! One of the analytical chemistry modules in my final year at uni was the most difficult module though. We were learning about so many different analytical techniques in so much depth that it stopped making sense after a while! It can get overwhelming at times, but what got me through was my passion for the course (and extracurricular activities!)
I found that the biggest jump in going to university was having to create your own structure and motivation for working – there is no longer a teacher asking you for your homework – it is up to you to do study and study well!
Managing and prioritising your time. Its so easy to have fun and get into the spirit and social life at Uni. But never ever forget why you are there – That’s the only thing I told my little one. You can do whatever but remember to do and to hand your work in on time and show up to as many lectures and practical’s as you can.
Always be polite to all staff and go to learn. When you get to my age that’s when the regrets will happen if you did not – and your bank balance. All that debt will otherwise be for nothing
