Question: Do you enjoy the job you do and if you were to inspire someone to try this job who would it be?

I love my job! I love the variety of my work and I enjoy learning and understanding more and more about how things work. I think everyone is capable of doing science in some form or another and I aim to inspire people who have maybe been told that “they’re not good enough” or that “Science just isn’t for them” because that isn’t true! A lot of my outreach focuses on getting young women interested in science, because they’re often the ones being told that sort of thing, but overall diversity is key and anyone who’s interested should give it a go.
