I completed my bachelors and masters degrees at Newcastle University followed by completion of my PhD, also at Newcastle University. I then joined Johnson Matthey as a research and development chemist in the catalyst technologies team.

I’ve just finished a PhD in Chemistry and Bioengineering at Imperial College London and now work in cancer research at the University of Oxford. I’m interested in all things medical-related, love to travel, and would never say no to pizza. 🧪✈️🍕

I run R and D programmes for JM. I love Chemistry and I love doing R and D. Part of it is developing new materials so that chemical processes can run more sustainably, and part of it is having ideas of what the world could be like and what will be needed.

My Work:
I have worked for Johnson Matthey since 2001. For a long time I worked in the lab making materials but now I am investigating using electricity to make chemicals.
I am an Operations Director for Johnson Matthey, live in Cambridge with my family (2 children, 6 and 11).

I’m a postdoctoral researcher. I like to apply my chemistry training to study biological questions.

I am a science and nature nerd who loves music, food, socialising with friends and awful TV.
I’m a second-year PhD student at the University of Warwick studying materials chemistry.
I studied chemistry at the University of Nottingham but also enjoy creative activities such as music and doing crafts. Travelling is one of my favourite things and I hope to visit either Norway or Peru next 🙂

I’m a first year chemistry PhD student working on sustainable polymers in home products – I am passionate about sustainable chemistry and sustainable living. I study at the Uni of Bath and I own too many plants.

I live in Edinburgh with my wife and two lovely daughters (2yr old and 4 yr old) who like to keep me very busy. I am a scientist with an interest in materials that are crystals and especially those that are pharmaceuticals (medicines). At work I try to find out way to let us produce crystals types that we want and also to crystallize brand new things too
