I am working on developing the small fluorescent molecules to their incorporation in nanoparticles that are organic and organometallic in nature. I synthesized these probes and analyze their spectrophotometric/optical properties. These materials are then used for imaging the biomolecules, polymers labeling and enable us to tailor their applications in healthcare and agriculture.

Each day is different, depending on what experiments I am doing. I usually plan out my day in advance. For example, if I am setting up a reaction or analyzing the compounds I prepared, I make sure I have all the solutions/chemicals and equipment that I need the day before. In the morning I will do some experiments in the lab, usually, till itโs time for lunch. In the afternoon I will set up mostly some work at my desk, read some papers or have a discussion with my research fellows, write up the work in my lab book and plan the next dayโs experiments. My day finishes at around 6/7 pm. Then I go home and do some chores, exercise, cooking anything which makes me happy.
